We're looking for dedicated nurses to join our team.

Schedule is 8-hour DAYS - M-F (0615-1445) NO CALL REQUIRED
Pre-op/PACU: Pre-op RN will be responsible for preparing patients for Surgery, duties include reviewing medical histories, physical assessments and ensuring necessary tests and procedures are completed. Educating patients about the surgical process, addressing concerns or questions, providing emotional support. PACU RN will closely monitor vital signs, manage pain, administer medications and provide wound care, assist with mobility, ensure proper nutrition and hydration. Educate patients on postoperative care, monitor patients for complications or adverse reactions, and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure a smooth recovery process. Certifications needed - ACLS is required, PALS and NRP are preferred. Full Time and Part Time positions available.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Surgical Services
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure: Current, temporary, or compact license to practice nursing in New Mexico.
Job Knowledge: Able to demonstrate the following core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability and leadership. Participation in continuing education programs to maintain current license. Knowledge of current trends and procedures in nursing profession. Must have a current CPR card or be enrolled in the next available class. Employment in accordance with the hiring policy of Cibola General Hospital.
