We're looking for a full time Housekeeper, to become a part of our team!

Our Housekeepers are a vital part in the healing process for our patients. We're looking for a reliable, service-oriented individual who has a high attention to detail and enjoys working with people.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Safety: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of hospital areas, including patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinics, and specialized rooms (OR, L&D, Nursery, ICU, ER, isolation).
• Daily Tasks: Regular duties include mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, restocking patient rooms, and cleaning medical equipment and facilities.
• Heavy Equipment Use: Operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Biological Waste Disposal: Understand and properly handle hazardous biological waste, including needles and tainted linens.
• Hazardous Exposure: Be aware of the potential exposure to harmful pathogens or diseases, either airborne or from touch.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with fellow employees and hospital staff.
• Workplace Safety: Be prepared to work in areas with higher risks, such as isolation rooms and medical areas with potential contamination.

Qualifications Needed:

Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent

Skills: Previous housekeeping experience preferred
